GöteborgsOperans Danskompani - Little Concert
In Mari Carrasco’s chaotic and captivating piece Little Concert, we see four dancers form a garage band. It’s wild, elegant, and full of passion. On stage, they are not only dancers but also rock stars: a garage band surrounded by the audience, which in turn is embraced by the music.**
Choreographer Mari Carrasco creates energetic and creepy worlds, always in strong connection to the music. Now she performs with GöteborgsOperans Danskompani at World of Volvo with a work aimed at children and young people aged 13 and up. The music is composed by Mikael Karlsson.
Little Concert features strobe lights, loud sounds, and stage smoke. The smoke is harmless to breathe. The audience will be standing during the performance. Recommended age: 13 and up. Younger children may attend if accompanied by an adult. Duration: approximately 35 minutes.
