  • The World of Volvo building was designed by the Danish architectural firm Henning Larsen, led by architect Søren Øllgaard. Inspired by Swedish nature and the concept of Allemansrätten (the freedom to roam), the building features a self-supporting timber structure with glulam beams made of Austrian spruce. The design symbolizes the forest and the grey rock, encapsulating the natural essence of Sweden.

  • This concept is central to the design and ethos of World of Volvo, promoting accessibility and connection with nature. Allemansrätten, or the freedom to roam, is a Swedish principle that allows people to access and enjoy the natural landscape responsibly.

  • World of Volvo is committed to accessibility and everyone should feel welcome. The building includes ramps, elevators, accessible restrooms, and other features to ensure that all visitors can have the best possible experience during their visit.
