We care about your privacy. When you come into contact with our business in various situations, your personal data may be processed by us. World of Volvo wants you to feel safe when we process your personal data, knowing that the information you provide us with is processed responsibly.

The personal data we collect, our legal basis and the purposes of processing

Personal data refers to any kind of information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a natural person, such as a name, email address or telephone number. An image is also considered personal data if an individual can be clearly identified in it.

We collect and process your data in communications with you, when you make a booking, request, registration or purchase with us, when you visit us and when you are engaged by World of Volvo (see below for further details).

We process your personal data when this is necessary to fulfil a contract with you, respond to your request for service or when we have another legitimate and justifiable interest in processing your personal data.

If we process your personal data for any purpose that requires your consent, we will seek this in advance.

While the personal data collected is mainly used for administration, it also enables us to contact you with information about our offers or as part of our quality work.

 

Communicating with World of Volvo

We process your personal data for the purpose of communicating with you. You can communicate with us in a number of ways, e.g. via social media, email or telephone. When you communicate with us and provide us with e.g. your name, email address and telephone number, we process this data.

We process your personal data in order to answer questions from you, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in managing our communication channels and information.

 

Camera surveillance

Personal data processed, and the purpose thereof.

Certain places in our building have fixed cameras installed whose purpose is to enhance security and enable the follow-up of any crimes committed on the premises. The cameras record moving images. This means that when you visit World of Volvo, we may process your personal data in the form of your photographic image. For this to be considered personal data it must be possible to determine that it is you in the film.

We process your personal data based on our legitimate interest in maintaining security for visitors and the premises, and following up any crimes committed. 

 

Visitors to our exhibitions, concerts and events

Personal data processed, and the purpose thereof.

We collaborate with Tickster for the purchase of tickets for our exhibitions, concerts and events. The personal data you provide in connection with such purchases is processed by Tickster in accordance with Tickster’s applicable privacy notice. The information (e.g. email address) Tickster shares with us under our agreement is used to send you information and offers about current events at World of Volvo.

Your data will be used to:

·       register and manage your ticket purchase

·       communicate with you prior to your visit

·       send you information and offers about current events at World of Volvo

 

Legal basis

We process your personal data to enable fulfilment of our agreement with you and provide the service you purchased, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in sharing information with you and marketing our offer.

 

Visitors to our restaurants

Our restaurants are run by Götaplatsgruppen. When you book a table in one of our restaurants, the booking is handled by the Götaplatsgruppen. The personal data (e.g. email address) you provide in connection with a booking, complies with the current Götaplatsgruppen Privacy Policy. The information Götaplatsgruppen shares with us under our agreement is used to send you information and offers about current events at World of Volvo. 

 

Cookies

When you visit our website, we may collect information and data about you by using what are known as cookies. We use cookies on our website to provide you with a good experience. Some cookies are technically necessary for the provision of the website and to ensure its functionality. Who has access to your personal data?

As a basic premise, your personal data will only be processed by World of Volvo. We will provide your personal data to companies and organizations we cooperate with if it is necessary for the fulfilment of our commitments to you as a visitor.

 

How long do we keep your personal data?

If you are a private individual, we will keep your data for two (2) years after your purchase or booking, or for as long as we have to retain the data by law. Your data is then securely deleted such that it can no longer be linked to you.

 

Deregistration

You may at any time and free of charge request to be deregistered or unsubscribed from future mailings by sending an email to it@worldofvolvo.com or by following the link included in each mailing we make.

 

You always have the right to:

·       Request access to the personal data we process concerning you: this right entitles you to find out if we have personal data about you and if so, to receive information about, and a copy of, the specific parts and categories of personal data.

·       Request rectification of your personal data: this right entitles you to have your personal data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete.

·       Object to the processing of your personal data: this right entitles you to demand that we no longer process your personal data.

·       Demand erasure or deletion of your personal data: this right entitles you to demand erasure or deletion of your personal data, including where such personal data is no longer necessary to fulfil the purpose.

·       Demand that the processing of your personal data be limited: this right entitles you to demand that personal data be processed only in limited circumstances and with your consent.

·       Demand the transfer of your personal data: this right entitles you to obtain a copy (in a portable and if technically feasible, easily usable format) of your personal data, or to require World of Volvo to transfer such personal data to another personal data controller.

·       If our processing of your personal data or part thereof is contingent upon your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time (such withdrawal does not affect the legality of the data processing activities prior to the withdrawal).
