Free jazz evenings at World of Volvo

Throughout the spring, Thursday Jazz presents a vibrant season filled with swing, presence and music of the highest quality. From tributes to Swedish jazz icons and modern jazz, to hot jazz and jazz songs, Thursdays offer a musical highlight in a unique setting.

Thursday Jazz is a recurring jazz evening at World of Volvo – always free of charge. The evenings consist of two sets and take place at Ceno Brasserie with a start from 18.00. Here you will find an overview of the season’s jazz programme. If you would like to enjoy dinner during the concert, please book a table separately.

26 February – Alice Babs Tribute

A swinging and affectionate tribute to Alice Babs – a carefully crafted performance filled with musical brilliance, playful energy and timeless elegance..

5 March – David Levinsson Trio 

An intimate concert where warmth, presence and exquisite interplay take centre stage. The David Levinsson Trio delivers personal jazz in a unique and atmospheric setting.

19 March – Gentleman & Gangsters 

Hot jazz with style and attitude! Sophisticated swing meets raw gangster energy in an explosive evening full of rhythm, charm and musical finesse.

26 March – Emrik 

Emrik and Johan Johansson Trio perform personal crooner interpretations of selected favourites from the American Songbook, with a personal and playful expression. Among others, Sinatra and Nat King Cole, mixed with Swedish jazz. 

2 April – David Levinsson Trio 

Warm, lively and close jazz. With personal expression and strong interplay, the David Levinsson Trio creates an evening to immerse yourself in and enjoy.

23 April – Val & Vlad

Val & Vlad is an acoustic duo blending soulful vocals and groove-driven guitar. Their sound moves between soft funk, neo-soul and intimate classics.

7 May – Svante Thuresson: A Hip Evening 

A hip and colourful tribute to Svante Thuresson’s unique artistry. Jazz, schlager, soul and cabaret combine in an evening filled with respect, energy and musical joy.
