From curious children to design enthusiasts and future engineers, World of Volvo offers experiences for all ages. Most visitors spend between 2–4 hours exploring the exhibitions, interactive activities and food experiences on site.

Perfect for families with children aged 6–15, as well as adults interested in design, technology and vintage vehicles.

  • Explore the special exhibition Volvo in Motorsport.
  • See iconic Volvo vehicles from different eras up close.
  • Take part in Traffic School, a practical and playful activity where children learn the basics of road safety.
  • Feel the wind in our wind tunnel.
  • Operate a real electric excavator.
  • Dock a boat in virtual reality.
  • Join a digital treasure hunt with Musse & Helium, following clues and solving puzzles around World of Volvo.

As an indoor experience, World of Volvo is a great destination for the autumn break – whether the sun is shining or the rain is pouring.

A must-visit destination in Gothenburg

World of Volvo is located in central Gothenburg, just a short walk from Liseberg and Scandinavium.

Easy to reach by tram, bus, bike or car, it's the perfect addition to a day in the city. Below the building there is also a five-story car park (Liseberg Södra) with about 1500 parking spaces. Find your way to World of Volvo. 

Food and drinks at Ceno Brasserie 

Take a break at Ceno Brasserie, offering lunch, fika and dinner in a relaxed Scandinavian setting. The kitchen is led by Stefan Karlsson and the food is Nordic and seasonal, which in late October means something entirely different from June. Perfect for families, couples and visitors exploring Gothenburg during the autumn break.
